Park Lane Yuh Dun Know Hoodie
Dear Jamaica and Toronto, this one’s for you. The Yuh Dun Know Hoodie is my cozy little love letter to Jamaican roots, Toronto life, and the beautiful way cultures make a city feel like home.
“Yuh dun know” is Jamaican Patois for “you already know.” A little familiarity, a little confidence, and a whole lot of personality. If you know, you know, and now you can wear it.
Toronto’s vibrant Jamaican community has helped shape the city’s cultural landscape, from music and food to the way we speak. Jamaican Patois is one of the influences woven into Toronto slang, alongside the many communities that give the city its own voice. You can hear that connection travel beyond the 6ix through global stars like Drake. This piece celebrates the culture behind those words, and the diversity that makes Toronto, Toronto.
Consider it a wearable hug between Jamaica and the 6ix. A sweet gift for someone proud of their roots, someone missing home, or your favourite person who brings a little Jamaican-and-Toronto energy wherever they go. Yourself included, of course.
Same Park Lane attitude, a fresh chapter. A little honesty from me: I wasn’t fully happy with the quality of our original hoodies, so I changed suppliers rather than settle. You deserve to know what’s changed.
Designed in Toronto and made from 100% cotton, this updated version features 350 GSM fabric. GSM means grams per square metre: each square metre of this fabric weighs 350 grams. Think a substantial fabric weight for your cozy coffee runs, laid-back days, and looking cute without trying too hard.
With a super-soft lining that has a fleece-like feel, this hoodie brings the cozy. The fit is true to size. Love a roomy, oversized look? Go up a size for that extra-cozy vibe.
Keep it cute: wash inside out, on its own, on a cold cycle to help prevent colour or fabric transfer from other garments. Skip the dryer and lay flat to dry.
Sweatpants are not included and are sold separately.
